Mount Rushmore

Here is a postcard I received from Mt. Rushmore.  I remember going here to visit as a young child, but my memories are quite vague.  I would like to take my kids there someday.

Winter Scene

The photo on this postcard reminds me a lot of the Great Lakes during our cold Michigan winters!

Yayoi Kusama

Here is an interesting postcard that was sent to me by Miharu of Japan.  The artist is Yayoi Kusama and she is a Japanese contemporary artist.

Singapore Changi Airport Control Tower

Here's a nice postcard sent from Singapore.  This airport is the most famous airport in that country and was officially opened on December 29, 1981.

Penghu - Twin Heart Stone Weir

I absolutely love this card.  This weir is made for catching fish.  The tide comes in and the fish get trapped, therefore making it easy to catch them.

The sender, Wanfeng, added these flower stamps because my profile on Postcrossing says that I like native flowers. So I thought this was a nice extra touch!

St. Petersburg - Palace Square, Winter Palace, & the Alexander Column

Here's one sent from Russia.  I included the note that was written on the card this time because I thought it was pretty interesting.  The sender was pleased about Obama being our president.  And boy, I hope they don't bomb us with the Topol-M bomb!
